Touchays is a family run business, started by Clare & Russell in 1993. We are an event catering company who love working with the best, most delicious and freshest of ingredients – herbs, seasoning, sugar, spice and all things nice to create recipes that will really impress your guests.
Clare, our founder studied at the prestigious Westminster Kingsway College – a college with an excellent reputation within the hospitality and catering industry. After leaving Clare worked at Claridge’s, London, and then at La Bonne Auberge (at the time, a destination restaurant outside of London), were she received her classical French training.
Russell, the Head Chef, and second founder worked in several prestigious hotels across London, but also being a passionate gardener and cook, he developed his fantastic sense of taste and passion for using the finest of home grown ingredients.
From its inception, Touchays has flourished and grown into a luxury, boutique wedding and event catering specialist. Working closely together, Clare and Russell understand the importance of closely following food and dietary trends (Gluten free, Vegan, Dairy Free and Allergens). From light, elegant and healthy to rich, naughty and indulgent, together we create unique and innovative menus to delight all your guests.
When planning the catering for your wedding, special occasion or corporate event, attention to detail, creativity, imagination, taste and style are at the heart of our approach to every dish. As a result, Touchays are now recognised as the go-to wedding and event catering company in Kent and the South East of England.

Training and development, Touchays recipe for success
We believe our recipe for success has come from running our own internal training and development programme. Every member of the team must pass various modules before being allowed to prep your food or serve your guests. Within the training scheme, the staff must not only learn all about food hygiene and dietary requirements, but they must also acquire the skills necessary to deliver great service with charm and personality, we call it our ‘Nice as Pie Training’. When a team member completes their initial training, they are paired with a buddy to ensure that the standards and consistency of the Touchays ‘service with style’ are maintained.
At Touchays we also take great pride in being dependable, honest and professional always. We believe that it is important, that members of our team are all lovers of food and good service.
Owing to this commitment and investment in staff training and development, Clare and Russell are justifiably proud of the team’s ability and love receiving all the wonderful compliments from couples, their friends, family and event organisers.
